We are saddened to announce the loss of our Atlantic City chapter leader Ms. Sharon Kelly, who passed away at the end of last week after fighting the good fight against pancreatic cancer.

Representative John Lewis was our great warrior for mankind, fighting many battles for us. He was a son of a sharecropper and fought tirelessly for racial equity before and during his time in Congress. He will be missed but his legacy and work will continue. Mothers in Charge and the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) provide a peer support specialist, victim advocate and intake specialist.
We offer assistance to survivors left behind by homicide victims with:

• Healing/Grief Support (individual and group)
• Anger Management
• Court Accompagnement
• Victim Advocacy
From mentoring students and teaching anger management to providing grief support, public education programming and more, we are doing all that we can at Mothers in Charge to keep our children safe and healthy.
