In 2007, Congress designated Sept. 25 as the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims. Each year, families of murder victims gather to mark this day of remembrance and memorial for loved ones that were taken by homicide.
Please share with other survivors that our gathering in 2020 will be by Zoom. Register in advance for this meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcod-qupzsuG9AI9Bfq-P9Wq9K5wxjCPlOO
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Our schedule is dedicated to us, the survivors! We will have a memorial, prayer, and moment of silence, along with testimony from survivors and special self-care professionals speak about grief and trauma.
There will be time for discussion and information about informed grief, understanding trauma, and a memorial for victims. Have a candle to light and a photo of your loved one during the ZOOM
